To our fans in China,

Thank you for your amazing support. We are continually humbled by your dedication to Dead by Daylight.

We are excited to see the genre of asymmetrical multiplayer games, popularized by Dead by Daylight, grow globally. We’d like to clarify that while Identity V does not have a license to use the Dead by Daylight brand, because we will be acting as gameplay consultants, prior to the open beta launch we have given NetEase our consent to use Dead by Daylight’s gameplay in Identity V. We will be providing input and advice to Identity V to help its global success.
